Brett Favre to Jets (for real this time)

I woke up this morning and checked my RSS Feed, where I found this: Agent: Favre willing to play for Jets, Bucs.

I don't think I can take this garbage anymore.  The whole love/hate relationship I have with Favre is not a good sign for things to come if he hooks-up with the Jets.  I don't know how Favre can go from "shunning" the Jets less than a week ago to being open to a trade to New York.

SportingNews indicates that New York may now be the frontrunners to landing Favre because they're offering a better package to the Packers.  But let's not forget that Jon Gruden has an affinity for aging QBs and would love to see Favre in those ugly Tampa Bay Buc jerseys.

While I would love to see Favre in New York, all I can think about is this giant tease-of-a-process that my boy Chad has been going through the past few weeks.  As I said last week, I would LOVE to see "Broadway Brett" in New York... but he's also been pissing me off with his monopoly on broadcast news.

To Mike Tannenbaum I say, get this deal done.  Give the Packers your 2nd Round Pick with an option for it to become a conditional 1st Rounder and just GET IT DONE.  I can say without a doubt that Jet fans and NFL fans just want this nonsense resolved as soon as possible.

What's with all the new blog-work BFadds? Good stuff. Too bad this isn't a Giants' blog though.

Haha, thanks for posting Mike. I have to get ready for a change in seasons... plus the Jets are my team, I felt empty without having this for them.

Giants? Bah! Overrated.
